Ty Pozzobon claims the PBR Canada National Finals event title, while Aaron Roy clinches the Canadian Championship on Saturday at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan - Aaron Roy became the first-ever three-time PBR Canadian Champion, while Ty Pozzobon claimed the PBR Canada National Finals event title on Saturday at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon.

Pozzobon posted 260.5 points on three bulls, including an 87.5-point effort on True Blood in the championship round to hold off Douglas Duncan and Josh Birks, who each covered three bulls for 256.5 points to tie for second at the event.

The top ride of the night belonged to Birks, who conquered PBR Canada Bull of the Year Jackson James for 88.5 points in the championship round.

Roy, who had all but clinched the Canadian Cup Series title entering the Finals, placed 10th at the event with 171.5 points on two bulls. Roy rode Little Joe for 85.5 points in Round 2 on Saturday.
